A splash of colour

Project Overview

For the Devon based business we looked to create a Brand Identity that was clean and professional yet didn't stray too far from its small town roots. Incorporating elements of the local landscape in both the photography and colour palette and taking design inspiration from the family run businesses of yesteryear and the vintage sign-writing often used alongside them, whilst making sure it still remains fresh and contemporary.

For this project we really wanted to tap into the tailor made, personal service that Joshua provides, something often overlooked in modern business.

Keeping the design minimal and striking with a simple colour palette was key for this project to enable the branding to stand out easily and grab attention. Sticking with natural, organic colours was an important step towards giving the brand a homely, intimate feel that customers are drawn to, when compared to other businesses.

Simple, bold and readily understandable iconography was also implemented to compliment much of the printed material created.
